Students who have applied for financial aid and have been offered a CitiAssist Loan on their online financial aid awared notice must complete the CitiAssist Loan application online each academic year in order to receive funds for this loan.

Instructions for students offered the Citiassist Loan:

1. You will receive an award notice via e-mail.

The award notice will indicate your CitiAssist Loan eligibility.

Please do not complete the online application unless your online award notice indicates you are eligible to borrow from the CitiAssist Loan program.

2. Apply for the CitiAssist Loan online.

Note when completing your online application:

• Use the school code for the Northwestern University Chicago Campus: 001739-01
• Do not apply for your Citiassist Loan prior to 180 days before your start term date (i.e., the beginning of your loan period); if you do, the application will expire and be invalid
