Federal Graduate PLUS Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN),
The Part-Time MBA Program

Unlike most other loan applications, the Federal Graduate PLUS Loan (MPN) does not need to be completed each academic year as it is a multi-year document. Please carefully read the information below to determine whether or not you need to complete the Federal Graduate PLUS Loan (MPN). You may also refer to the "messages" section on the reverse side of your financial aid award notice to determine if you need to complete the Federal Stafford Loan (MPN).

Application Requirements for First Time Federal Graduate PLUS Loan Borrowers in The Part-Time MBA Program

If you have not previously borrowed from the Federal Graduate PLUS Loan while attending The Part-Time MBA Program, you will need to download, print, and complete the Federal Graduate PLUS Loan (MPN) here and submit it to the address at the bottom of this page.

Application Requirements for Previous Federal Graduate PLUS Loan Borrowers in The Part-Time MBA Program

In most cases, if you have borrowed from the Federal Graduate PLUS Loan Program during the prior academic year (i.e., 2007-08) in The Part-Time MBA Program, you do not need to complete another Graduate PLUS MPN. Simply sign and return the award notice you received in the mail to the address at the bottom of this page indicating the amount of Graduate PLUS Loan you wish to borrow.

Exceptions: The following situations require that a previous Graduate PLUS Loan borrower in The Part-Time MBA Program complete the Federal Graduate PLUS Loan (MPN) again:

1. You decide to change your Graduate PLUS Loan Lender.
2. 12 months have elapsed since your last Graduate PLUS Loan disbursement. (very rare)
3. You are changing degree programs. (e.g., changing from an undergraduate to graduate program)

Previous borrowers in The Part-Time MBA Program who meet any of the three conditions above must click here to download, print, and complete the Federal Graduate PLUS Loan (MPN) again and submit it to the address at the bottom of this page.

If you are uncertain as to whether or not you need to complete the Graduate PLUS MPN again, please check the "messages section" on the back of your financial aid award notice to verify this requirement. The "messages section" also contains other important information concerning your financial aid award.
