Feinberg School of Medicine
Feinberg School of Medicine is a proud participant in the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program). The following information applies to all programs within Feinberg (MD, PA, PT, PO programs).
The Feinberg School of Medicine will award annual Yellow Ribbon grants to up to:
- Four (4) Veterans in MD or PA who are 100% eligible for Post 9-11 GI Bill® VA Benefits. Yellow Ribbon covers 100% of tuition and mandatory fees. The amount a student receives from Feinberg will be matched by the VA (not to exceed tuition and fees).
- Five (5) Veterans in NUPTHMS who are 100% eligible for Post 9-11 GI Bill VA Benefits. Yellow Ribbon covers 100% of tuition and mandatory fees. The amount a student receives from Feinberg will be matched by the VA (not to exceed tuition and fees).
- One (1) Veteran in NUPOC who is 100% eligible for Post 9-11 GI Bill VA benefits. Yellow Ribbon covers 100% of tuition and mandatory fees. The amount the student receives from Feinberg will be matched by the VA (not to exceed tuition and fees).
How to qualify
For all academic years: To qualify for the Yellow Ribbon benefit provided by Feinberg and VA match you must meet the following criteria. Benefits are awarded on a first come first served basis.
- Students must be admitted to their program
- Students must submit their Certificate of Eligibility from the Department of Veteran Affairs, stating that they are 100% eligible for Post 9/11 G.I. Bill benefits, to the Chicago Office of Financial Aid as well as Charmaine Nicholson, the School Certifying Official for Feinberg via the secure document upload link above.
